Please keep in mind that some custom textures don't contain locator files so other users might not see your mod for your track. Locator files are files that end with .loc that contain a download link to the texture and must have the same name as the mod itself. By having a .loc, the custom textures are automatically downloaded when another user opens the track!
Example .loc file for Snow1.0 for reference on how to make one:
- Car Mod Name: Snow1.0.zip
- Locator File Name: Snow1.0.zip.loc
- Inside the .loc file: "
http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/78n71gggqneqtsq/Snow1.0.zip" (without the quotation marks)
http instead of https or else it won't work!Don't worry too much as locator files will be in a separate download link and an indication will be given whether or not it contains it.
Also, feel free to use directed download links as part of your .loc files! 😄😄😄
